May 15, 2024: This Week’s PCT Grand Rounds to Feature the CardioHealth Alliance

Dr. Ken Mahaffey, Dr. Nishant Shah, and Dr. Neha Pagidipati

In this Friday’s PCT Grand Rounds, Ken Mahaffey of Stanford University and Nishant Shah and Neha Pagidipati of Duke University will present “CardioHealth Alliance: A Platform to Improve Care.”

The Grand Rounds session will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1:00 pm eastern.

Mahaffey is the associate dean for clinical research in the Stanford University School of Medicine and the director of the Stanford Center for Clinical Research. Shah is an assistant professor of medicine in the Duke University School of Medicine and the principal investigator for the REVEAL Project: Identifying Real World Gaps and Areas for Improvement. Pagidipati is an associate professor of medicine in the Duke University School of Medicine and the principal investigator for the Test to Treat: Improving Lipid Management on a Health System Level.

July 12, 2023: In This Week’s PCT Grand Rounds, Lessons From the COORDINATE-Diabetes Trial

In this Friday’s PCT Grand Rounds, Christopher Granger and Neha Pagidipati of Duke University will present “Lessons From the COORDINATE-Diabetes Trial.”

The Grand Rounds session will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 1:00 pm eastern.

The Coordinating Cardiology Clinics Randomized Trial of Interventions to Improve Outcomes (COORDINATE)–Diabetes was a cluster randomized trial assessing the effect of a multifaceted intervention of assessment, education, and feedback on the proportion of adults with type 2 diabetes and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease receiving recommended, evidence-based therapies.

Dr. Granger is the Donald F. Fortin, MD, Distinguished Professor of Medicine and a professor of nursing, and Dr. Pagidipati is an associate professor of medicine—both at Duke University.

Holve is the chief research infrastructure officer for PCORI. Rothman is the principal investigator of the PCORI-funded Mid-South Clinical Data Research Network and a member of the PCORnet Executive Committee. Jones is an associate professor of medicine and population health sciences at Duke University. Pagidipati is an associate professor of medicine at Duke University.
