About the PMC

The PMC is an important tri-government agency partnership involving the National Institutes of Health and Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs that supports a growing number of large-scale, multisite, pragmatic clinical trials (PCTs) of nonpharmacological approaches for the management of pain and common co-occurring conditions in military and Veteran health systems. Launched in 2017, the originally supported 11 PCTs are nearing completion and are ready to present early findings, lessons learned in the conduct of the trials, and future directions and opportunities for implementation of important findings and products and for future research.
