Steering Committee
The NIH Pragmatic Trials Collaboratory Steering Committee was established to:
- Address issues that span all NIH Collaboratory Trials
- Provide input into the program's policies and processes
- Assist in dissemination of policies and processes that enable research in partnership with health care systems, their patients, and practitioners
Steering Committee membership includes leaders from the NIH, Coordinating Center, Cores, and NIH Collaboratory Trials. The committee meets regularly, including an in-person annual meeting to share learnings and discuss challenges and best practices in the conduct of pragmatic clinical trials (see Meeting Archive).
The Steering Committee operates under principles of shared responsibility, mutual respect, trust, and inclusivity, fostering a shared commitment to the accomplishment of the goals of the NIH Pragmatic Trials Collaboratory. All members are expected to actively participate in all Steering Committee activities.
